How To Take Care of A Pregnant Wife
Last week, I experienced bleeding and pain at the left side of my tummy. The hubby and I immediately rushed to the OB-gyne and after an afternoon of transvaginal ultrasound, I was analysed with Diffuse Subchorionic Hemorrhage. The doctor said blood clots formed within the layers of the placenta. But mine was distributed. Her advised was for me to take total bed rest and medication.
We really thank the Lord that we saw the baby’s heartbeat. Tears fell from my husband’s eyes. Imagine the agony and stress we went through waiting for the result!
Reil began taking care of all my needs. From my breakfast to doing the laundry. Everyday, he would wake up early asking what do I want to eat. This goes to the lunch and dinner as well. He does all the house chores while I stay in our room.
At the end of the day, he would stretch his left arm for me to lie on (as a pillow) and the other one wrap around my tummy where baby is. And we would wake up on the same position.
I know this can be odd (even funny) to some, but these things really can touch a wife’s heart.
To my husband, thank you for doing all these things. I know that even if I’m not pregnant, you would still do those sweet little acts because you were born with that kind of caring heart. I love you
