Dog had a Cardiac Arrest

I checked my facebook last Sunday and found out a status post from a friend that their dog Trixie died of Cardiac Arrest. When we met on Tuesday, I asked his girlfriend what happened. The night before, Trixie became weak then almost lost its balance, they decided to take it to the vet in the middle of the night but it died on my friends arms before arriving to the clinic. The vet said it suffered from cardiac arrest caused by ticks that gets inside the system through its ears. It then reached the dogs’ intestines which eventually led to its death.
